Books For Christian Men
One of my mentors told me, “If you ever really want to get to know a man, simply ask his wife, talk to his children, and check out his personal library of books.”
I’ve learned over the years of mentoring, coaching, and counseling men that real men read more than just the sports pages, they also read the Bible. But real men don’t stop at only reading the Word of God, they also read the books of great men whom God has raised up. And as Christian men, if we’re not growing daily WITH Christ, then that means we’re slowly dying (spiritually) WITHOUT Him.
Christian Men, Spiritual Growth & Christian Living
As the podcast host of one of the top Christian Men’s podcasts in the world (Real Men Connect), I’ve had the privilege to interview more than 700+ guests on my show. So, it shouldn’t surprise you that I’m constantly asked about the books I read for spiritual growth (other than the Bible) -- especially when it comes to marriage and being a husband.
And honestly, it’s too many great books to name the best. So, I decided to narrow it down by compiling a list of 10 (in no particular order) of my favorite “must-read books” for married, Christian men.
By no means is this an exhaustive list, and I’m sure I’ve probably left dozens of great ones off of it. But I’ve not only read, used, and shared these 10 books with others, I’ve had the honor and privilege to either meet or interview most of these amazing authors one-on-one. So, rest assured that you too can read, use, and share each of these books with confidence.
